Covering stains with deco patch

If you are looking to revamp an old, bored, tired, tea ring stained surface then one option is to consider deco patching it for a whole new look.
I had tried every cleaning product in the world on this white surface but with no joy. In the end I decided to move the table to the bathroom and give it a moroccan flavour with blue patterned deco patch paper. This paper can be ordered online or bought from hobby craft. This surface took half a £3 pack.
Below are some in progress pictures.

Decopatching my bedside table

I have been meaning to do this for a while now. The top of my white bedside table has been getting tea/wine stains that won’t budge (yes I drink wine in bed ok, judge me). So, I decided to try decopatching the top of it. For those of you who have never done it before it involves ripping up sheets of special decopatch paper and using a paintbrush to glue them down on pretty much any surface. This photo shows the result. Bye bye tea stains, hello cuteness. Even bought a storage box to match. Decopatch papers can be bought online or at hobbycraft. This table took one pack at £3. The box was £10 for 3 sizes at asda living. I totally recommend giving this a go. 20130714-101309.jpg table final
