I wish I lived nearer north wales sometimes 😦
Here at Reading Wales we love to promote Anglophone Welsh literature through our blog and book group.
However, this weekend will see another brilliant platform for those who want to find out more about Welsh authors who write in the English language. Gwyl Arall is an arts festival based in Caernarfon and as the poster suggests there is a jam-packed schedule for the festival which is now celebrating its fifth year. Authors Rachel Trezise and Francesca Rhydderch (both former Reading Wales book group reads) will be attending the festival to discuss their latest books. There will also be appearances from Lloyd Jones, Cynan Jones, Rhian Edwards, Jill Piercy and many more. There are events in both Welsh and English and translation facilities will be available for some of the events. The programme for the weekend can be found here, listing all of the events taking place over the weekend in venues…
