I want this dress to wear to work. Tomorrow. Someone sort it out please. I’ve realised a sad fact today and that is that I don’t own any dresses that force me to hold me arms out at 45 degrees.
Such a stunning painting. But I’m sad that she’s sad.
I love turning to paintings for writing inspiration. My next character is going to rock a mahoooosive skirt for sure.
Infanta Margarita Teresa in a Blue Dress by Velasquez
It’s my birthday 🙂 and we have just spent the morning looking at someones’s rather impressive craftwork from many years ago, the largest white horse on the UK, in Westbury.
It was amazing to get to see it up close. The eye was huge, and made from grey bricks.

last painting sesh on the cows. Almost done. Just need to get the ginger one all fluffy and sort the left one’s eyes out. I’m exhausted. Off to read some painting books in the bath and sleep for hours. I actually hate the painting. It’s nothing like I would have wanted to do in the end.
