I had a shopping spree yesterday and have stocked up on some light bright yarns ready to knock up some colourful cowls and wonderful wrist-warmers to see you through the Spring. I will be posting photographs of the finished goods once I have enough of a range. Contact me for specific commissions.
If you are looking to revamp an old, bored, tired, tea ring stained surface then one option is to consider deco patching it for a whole new look.
I had tried every cleaning product in the world on this white surface but with no joy. In the end I decided to move the table to the bathroom and give it a moroccan flavour with blue patterned deco patch paper. This paper can be ordered online or bought from hobby craft. This surface took half a £3 pack.
Below are some in progress pictures.
Just spotted some gorgeous bunting from sheet music at the beggar’s banquet café in Shaftesbury and think I want to ‘borrow’ this idea next time it is one of my family’s birthdays as they are all so musical.
Feeling inspired to make these in my next ceramic class. The buttons are in the kiln but I’m yet to paint them. Love the idea of hand drawing on the cards.
